2010 Event Details

Troma Ngakmo Retreat
(May 15-29, 2010)

This retreat announcement pertains to all those
who attended the Great Seven Day Chod Retreat at
Gaden Tashi Choling Retreat in Nelson from Dec 26-Jan 3, 2009.

Zasep Rinpoche with Miya Shamada will offer theTroma Ngakmo  Preparation Retreat (for the 108 Springs Retreat) at Gaden Tashi Choling Retreat in Nelson, May 15th to 29th 2010.

Retreat Details:
Troma Ngakmo is a wrathful form of Machik Labdron.
She is a manifestation of Vajrayogini and the main yidam of Chod practice. Rinpoche will provide commentary on the Troma Ngakmo sadhana. Rinpoche and Miya will teach melodies and drumming  for this sadhana, and Rinpoche would like all participants to do 110,000 mantras at this retreat, if possible.

This retreat is in preparation for the 108 springs retreat. This retreat is only for those who have attended all of the great 7-day Chod retreat from Dec 26-Jan 3, 2009 with Rinpoche in Nelson.

The fee for the retreat is on a sliding scale, you choose between $75-$100 per day. This includes all food, teachings, commentary and practices. Accomodation at the gompa is also on a sliding scale, you choose between $25-$50 per day. Please state clearly when you register if you wish to stay at the gompa.

If you are unable to do all the retreat but can do some you are welcome to do so, however you must do the beginning of the retreat so if you can only do 4 days, plan to do the first 4 days.
