This will be a retreat including work party. There are many tasks requiring completion at the Gompa.
There will be SinghaMuka Initiation on July 12, the retreat will start on July 11th at 7pm and will finish on July 20th at 12noon. The retreat will include, initiation and sadhana practice with mantra recitation, meditation, and commentary. We will practice morning and evening and work in the middle of the day The schedule will be as follows: Morning meditation 6:30-8am, breakfast 8-9am,work 9-1pm, lunch and karma yoga, teaching 3-4:30pm, practice 5-6pm, dinner 6-7:30pm, practice 7:30-9pm. We will be cooking our own food for this retreat. We will do this and other chores during Karma Yoga each day.
SinghaMuka the Lion Faced Dakini is a healing practice and is a yiddam of all four lineages of Tibetan Buddhism. SinghaMuka is the special secret heart yiddam of Lama TsongKhappa. The benefits of this
practice include, healing, exorcism, getting rid of negative forces, overcoming black magic and curses. SinghaMuka is an emanation of Tara. SinghaMuka is also practiced in the Hindu tradition.
As you all know our retreats including accomodation usually cost $100 per day. This retreat will cost $50 per day and no charge for accomodation, meals will be included. The reason for the fee change is that we will all do fours hours of work per day
The fee for the full retreat will be $400.
